the plummer/kennedy conspiracy

I love "real" photography that tells a story, rather than being a perfectly airbrushed and plastic images of how women think they need to look from the majority of glossy mags.
Billy Plummer and Michael Kennedy have capture beachy chic in these delightful portraits taken on Manly Beach as part of the Festival of Surf this past weekend.
Random subject were selected photographed, then overnight the images were printed and appeared in the morning on the walls of the Steyne Hotel and The Wharf Hotel.
To view the full collection visit the Consipiracy Theory website in a few days once they have had time to process the bnearly 2000 images taken over the four days or pop into the hotels in Manly where they will be on display. Sponsored by mesurf.com.au.

Queen Victoria Building - Lovely Images

I'm adding to my visual stimulus package this morning. QVB swoons. After massive makeover, Sydney’s Queen Victoria Building has revamped its look, heading more towards vintage, old world - more victorian charm.
The ‘Magic Lives On’ campaign, devised by PDC Creative, includes in-centre posters, JCDecaux city lights, City of Sydney flags in Sydney’s CBD and print advertising in magazines including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Sydney Magazine. Creative director Caroline Poiner, photographer Mikael Wardhana and  stylist Emily McGregor have definitely hit the nail on the head with thiswhimsical, fairytale romance style.
