There is a part of me have always love the look of the antique, homey, comfy look of the handmade crochet clothing, bags, napkins, scarves ... it gives you that forgotten old world charm and the joyful memories of visiting grandma's attic, finding treasures. I think there's just not enough crochet in the world of fashion! it's all handmade, just like Haute Couture!

Prince William & Kate Middleton's Fabulous Royal Wedding - The Dress & The Tiara

I am sure all of fashionistas all over the world were drinking their coffee, staying up all night till the sun came up to watch the fabulous Royal Wedding of Prince William & Kate Middleton. We will get to the who wears what fashion review later, but how can we be talking about the Royal Wedding without mentioning those over the top sparkling diamond tiaras right? So let’s start with a little intro of some of the famous Diamond Tiaras own by Queen Elizabeth.

The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara

The 'Girls of Great Britain and Ireland' Tiara was given to the future Queen Mary as a wedding present in 1893. The diamond tiara was purchased from Garrard, the London jeweller, by a committee organised by Lady Eve Greville. In 1947, Mary gave the tiara to her granddaughter, the future Queen Elizabeth II, as a wedding present.

The tiara was described by Leslie Field as "a diamond festoon-and-scroll design surmounted by nine large oriental pearls on diamond spikes and set on a bandeau base of alternate round and lozenge collets between two plain bands of diamonds". Queen Elizabeth II usually wears the tiara without the base or pearls.

First Lady of Fashion - Michelle Obama

The First lady (in some country the Queen & Princess) whom represent the women of their country has always had fashionista's attention to their fabulous clothes & accessories. Ever since Jacqueline Kennedy the very first American fashion icon first lady of John F. Kennedy, American women has always look up to & imitate the style & looks of their first lady.

After Jackie Kennedy then Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush our current first lady Michelle Obama; all has their unique taste of style. But what made it extra unique with Michelle Obama is, she is the very first African-American first lady and because of her beautiful skin tone, she can wear and look fabulous in many bright vibrant color & prints garments that many of the previous first lady cannot pull it off! Also because she is the most athletic first lady we've ever had, she has nice toned arms and body, that she can experiment and look great in some special cuts of garments.

We especially like how she mix and match some super expensive couture garments with some inexpensive separates such as from the Gap, J-Crew and jazz it up with some fabulous precious gem stone accessories, all in a fun bold printed, flirty yet elegant way, that Michelle Obama does it so well.

Elizabeth Taylor - The Last True Hollywood Star Dies at Age 79, R.I.P

Elizabeth Taylor, a name was synonymous with Hollywood glamour, a global super star who dazzled & capture the hearts of moviegoers with her out of this world beauty & elegance has died on today March 23, 2011 due to congestive heart failure at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at age 79.

Born Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor in London, England, on February 27, 1932, to American parents, Taylor left England with her family on the eve of World War II and relocated to Los Angeles. Her first big film was "Lassie Come Home," and 1944 hit film "National Velvet." She continued working steadily throughout the late 1940s and '50s, becoming known as one of the world's great beauties thanks to her piercing violet-colored eyes and alluring gaze.

Taylor finally got her award in 1960 for her peerless performance in "Butterfield 8", in which she played Gloria Wandrous, a call girl who gets entangled with a married man.

One of her most famous films was the 1963 epic "Cleopatra", one of the most expensive movies of all time when it was filmed. She met her future husband Richard Burton on the set and the two began a torrid affair that scandalized Hollywood because both she and Burton were married to other people. Burton would later become her fifth (and sixth) husband after the couple divorced in 1974 after 10 years of marriage and then remarried in 1975 only to divorce again the next year.

Here is the video from the film “Cleopatra” when she entered Rome, it is just the most fabulous scene in the whole movie!

She won a second Oscar in 1966 for her role in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf ?" That would mark the last of her major big-screen roles. Although she continued to sporadically make movie and TV appearances in the 1970s and '80s, Taylor would never again reach such a pinnacle of fame.

Elizabeth Taylor won the Oscar Best Actress in 1967 for her role in "Who is afraid of Virginia Woolf"

Later on, she launched her own brand of Perfumes, “White Diamonds” & “Passion” are two of her most successful perfumes and making her millions of dollars each year on sales!
